Some 60 per cent of British couples argue on holiday, according to a new survey.
The poll, by travel website Trivago, asked more than 5,000 holidaymakers if and why they rowed while away.
Among the top reasons for bickering abroad included jealousy due to flirting with other people, which 17% of British respondents said caused problems, while 16% fell out over issues like bad food or the weather.
The Spanish and French were most likely to get het up about flirting, and Poles were more likely to disagree about travel plans, according to the results. More than 60 per cent of Swedes, however, claimed that they never fight on holiday.
